After reading media accounts about the efforts of the attorney general’s office, Providence City Councilman Pedro Espinal, the Washington Park Neighborhood Association and others to gain public access to the waterfront through Public Street, we wanted to take the opportunity to remind members of the public, particularly our neighbors in South Providence and Washington Park, of the public waterfront access point established by ProvPort in 2017.
